Transmission

Statkraft Peru holds a significant share of the transmission sector in the central highlands in Peru and to the north of Lima with the operation and maintenance of more than 920 km of transmission lines, with 1050 MW of transformation capacity, which allows for a highly reliable energy transmission to consumers as most of the plants are automated and undergo extensive maintenance.  The majority of consumers connected to the transmission grid in the central highlands are mining users, whereas consumers connected to the transmission grid to the north of Lima are mostly industrial and regulated users that are supplied energy through the National Interconnected Power Grid.
